ReAL Services
UFDC strives to maintain the highest standards in doll related Research, Education and Preservation.
To support these goals we have developed our doll collection, ephemera collection and research library .
ReAL Services stands for Research and Archival Library Services and is the “real” heart of UFDC’s mission to preserve dolls, promote the hobby of doll collecting and to provide educational materials pertaining to dolls.
This department of UFDC encompasses our Research Libraries and our Ephemera Archives. There is also an actual library at UFDC headquarters that members can visit in person to conduct research.
Not a member? It is easy to join UFDC and have full library privileges. Visit the Membership page learn how to become a member today!
Are you interested in contributing a program to our DVD collection? Please consult the Audio Visual Program Contest page.
Scholarships are available through ReAL Services for those who wish to develop programs. Please see the Scholarship Application for more information.
Another educational opportunity that members may take advantage of if attending the National Convention, is the Apprentice Judge Program.
We hope to use our website to offer many seminars on-line. For now, you can view a Mini Seminar: An Excerpt from “The ABCs of Conservation”.
ZOOM PROGRAMS - With so many clubs using Zoom, we have put together a wonderfully diverse selection of programs for clubs to enjoy. The list has been sent to all Club Presidents. To book one of the programs, all clubs need to do is to email the presenter and sort out a date!
Also, a number of the Regional Directors are organizing Zoom gatherings featuring some of these programs. Details can be found on the UFDC Calendar. If the gathering is for your region, you will automatically be sent an invite (if we have your correct email!). If it is for another region and is open to others, then if you would like to attend, email the person shown as the contact to see if there is room. Enjoy!
