UFDC Region 15
Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont
My name is Jeri Robinson. I have been a member of UFDC since 1998 and am a founding member of the Black Gold Doll Club of New England and a member of the Boston Doll Study Club. I have served as club president, secretary, and treasurer. On the national level, I have served as Junior Collector Coordinator and member of the Collections, Membership and Safeguarding Language Committees. I have attended over 20 annual conventions serving as a monitor and clerk for the competitive exhibits banquet captain, meal events and banquet hosts. My passion is sharing the love of dolls with junior collectors and have hosted the junior tea at both national and Region 15 conventions and locally.
I've been a doll collector most of my life and still has my Tiny Tears, first Ginny and Nancy Ann Storybook dolls in very played-with conditions. Growing up as an only child, dolls were my playmates and my doll collecting interests were supported by my family, my mother, uncle and God mother in my early years and my father, in my adult collecting years. My dolls interests and collections are quite varied. I love my BJDs, American Girl, Ginny, early Tonners as well as Japanese Kokeshi, Ichimatsu dolls, dolls of South Africa and so much more.
As a former Kindergarten teacher and museum educator, I enjoy using dolls in teaching and shared my doll and book collection with many elementary classrooms over ZOOM during the pandemic.
I look forward to getting to know and serve the clubs and collectors of Region 15 and growing our membership to include more young adults and junior collectors.
Happy Dolling!
