Robin's journey with UFDC began in 2010, and since then, he has been a dedicated member, serving as Vice President and Secretary of the North Louisiana Antique Doll & Toy Club. His commitment is further evident in his active participation in the club's luncheon committees for the past three years. Robin's passion for the doll community is reflected in his efforts to recruit new members. He has shared his knowledge and insights by presenting lectures to various doll and civic clubs and writing the monthly newsletter. His dedication has taken him to UFDC National Conventions in 2012, 2019, 2021, and 2022.
He is actively involved in his local church, serving as director in several capacities. In the past, he has been active in the PTA and has been a lifetime member. Robin has been involved with the Homemakers Club and Broadmoor Book Club. He has a BA in Elementary Education and an MA from the University of Arkansas. He is proficient in using computer technology to communicate with others. Robin works part-time as a support staff member at his church in Shreveport and part-time at an antique store. He feels this affords him the flexible hours needed to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the Regional Director.
Robin's personable nature is a key aspect of his leadership style. He is not just approachable, but also open, and always ready to listen. He will use his leadership and communication skills to promote relationships with other clubs while fulfilling the duties of Regional Director, ensuring that everyone's voice is heard and valued.
